QLD Building has a professional and dedicated team of internal personnel, from management and administration to project and site managers, to ensure that we function effectively. Our intuitive and constructive response helps us to produce a solution that is seamless. Industry experience has helped us to deliver efficient services with supportive and attentive contractors on hand with expertise and capabilities. QLD Building holds current builders licenses, building insurances, WorkCover, PQC and a strong employee and contractor team.
Our people are our priority, providing development opportunities, training and mentoring to achieve their potential. Our team has extensive experience and knowledge in the construction industry and a thorough understanding of all components and practices involved throughout the building process. Our team is motivated to work together to overcome any construction problem that we encounter.
We have built trusted long-standing relationships with a wide range of subcontractors through consistent engagement on our developments. This helps us to negotiate prices and prioritize work, while giving the trades a better understanding of our market and the urgency to deliver within agreed deadlines. We support subcontractors in the local community and recognize the contribution local businesses have on our continued growth and success.
We have established credit trading accounts with over 50 suppliers, allowing us to obtain products immediately without any delays. We are in partnership with engineers, architects, and technical specialists to provide a seamless end to end service for our clients. By performing many of these services in house and using trusted and established relationships with our partners and suppliers we deliver quality projects, within budget.

Andrew Mclean
Founder | Director
Andrew understands the property and building sectors in a dynamic and thorough way, with over 25 years of experience in property development, design, construction, finance and funds management. Andrew founded QLD Building Company, a fully integrated development and construction business operating in Queensland and brings a wealth of knowledge to his role as managing Director.
Andrew has in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the development process, from project feasibility to managing consultants and construction. He personally oversees the entire development process, ensuring the highest quality end product on time and on budget. He implements clear communication and transparency which is central to his approach with clients, subcontractors, partners and suppliers, to ensure positive outcomes and value is achieved for each project.
Over the years, Andrew acquired a wide range of skills from roles in carpentry, site foreman, project and site management, and continued his education in the construction industry by obtaining an Advanced Diploma in Building and Construction Management. Andrew holds an Advanced Building and Construction Management Qualification and current QBCC Open Builder License.
Steve Paraskevas
Co-Founder | Director
With over 15 years experience in the construction industry, Steve plays a pivotal role in project and personnel coordination, ensuring QLD Building produces the highest quality end product on time and on budget. Steve has an exceptional talent for managing multidisciplinary teams efficiently and effectively.
Steve, a structural steel fixer by trade, expanded his knowledge in the construction industry by undertaking his carpentry training and the relevant qualifications to receive his builders license with the QBCC.
